Your goals, affirmations and dreams are more likely to manifest if you do not tell anyone about them. Broadcasting them to friends, family and co-workers will deflate their urgency inside of you. Too often, your mind will be satisfied by your declarations and move on to other more worthy goals. By staying quiet, the momentum of excitement and passion will build up until the mind focuses on it to all else.

Keeping quiet may just help You achieve your goals.
Studies done since 1933 have shown that telling people about something you want to do will greatly diminish the possibility that you will get that thing done. Announcing a major goal, for example, creates a premature sense of completeness inside of your mind. Your mind will take the words and the actions in saying them as the satisfaction of the tenets of that goal, and the mind will cease to pursue it any longer. By keeping all of your aspirations and goals to yourself, the mind will continue to work on them until they are realized in the real world.
This is quite an eye-opener for many people, who have seen people buy a treadmill and walking shoes and announce to everyone that they are going to lose weight. 3 months later, the treadmill is now a new coat rack in your living room. The weight loss goal has gone on the shelf with the other weight loss goals you have told everyone about. A better plan is to buy the treadmill, work out on it in the privacy of your home, or the gym, and only report what has changed to your family and friends. Your results will be much greater, and more likely to stick.
We can all help each other with our goals and dreams. Not sharing every detail about each goal and dream will keep the fire burning within you. Keep your spoken goals short, if you say anything at all. Share this knowledge with your team. Keep Your goals and dreams private. Only let them know about them as they come true, one goal at a time.
